This is a post for all the games I make and post them online, in whatever format they are in.

the first game I am currently working on is just a test, it includes some spartans but it is still in alpha so if you find any bugs tell me.

(I already know about the wall-jumping bug.)

I thought that this game was very interesting. You should probably add a wall so that I can't fall off, but other than that, it's looking pretty good! Very Happy

Actually, I knew about these sprites since we talked about scratch last year in computer concepts at the beginning of 8th grade. they were in a sample project.

and to superbob, i plan to add not only a wall but more of a level--but it is difficult to line up the sprites since each section is a seperate sprite.

update!

i added another section,added enemy ai, two more enemies, and updated the graphics. also, if you look hard, when it scrolls and you look to the far left of the screen you may notice that some of the level appears to have disappeared. THIS IS ON PURPOSE! When I scrolled the level it dragged the last few pixels of the background along and it looked weird.

P.S. I already put this in the description, but IF YOU HAVE ANY ATTACK PATTERN SUGGESTIONS PLEASE GIVE (Tell, sorry) THEM TO ME.

EDIT: his current attack pattern is to wait until the player is level, and if he is not dead and he is not off the screen he will wait one and a half seconds before firing.

not really you have played just as much megaman as me and you have played more halo than me so you would actually be able to design better levels than me for a battle mode

well, since lunden has given me some ideas (in the chat box and on the phone) i am going to make a seperate project resembling a battle.

if you want me to continue to upload updates to my halo test project tell me, otherwise i will work soley on this until i complete it.

well, you can still click on the original link and it will take you to the updated version of the game, when i upload it i upload it to the same page and it erases the previous versions.

It is possible for enemies to do that in platformers, but I do not know if Scratch will allow you to do that.

EDIT: I just played the game again, and I realized that the bullets are coming out of the flashlight part of the gun. I suggest that you change it because it makes you look like more of a noob to Halo than you already are. (No Offense.)

so, it occured to me i could throw away my current design, and add in a second layer (like in dark souls) that you flip through by pressing a button, and make it more action-based instead of platform-based and add in more enemy variety.

do you like this idea?

if so, please tell me what enemies you would like to see and their attack patterns, and possibly a link to a preferred sprite sheet for the enemy.
